Has anyone else experienced severe kidney area pain one side (right) I’ve had this pain a few weeks now and never had it before. I’ve had one dose of prostap following on from zoladex. Could it be linked? Also general bad pain all over and just feeling not right somehow. Any thoughts?

Sorry you’re having a rough time but I found Prostap intolerable.
Gyno sold it to me as best thing ever for endo but I was ill with it.
I had pain all over like my body felt broken I also had horrendous headaches, hot flushes, insomnia and constantly had period pain and bleeding. I was obviously told the period pain and bleeding was impossible due to it stopping my cycle but my body was definitely telling me otherwise! Oh and massive weight gain, if weight is an issue for you like it is me I gained 3 stone in 3 months on it!
I would contact a healthcare professional with you having targeted pain incase it’s not a known side effect.
Hi! I’ve been experiencing kidney pain on either one or both sides since my lap last year. And aching joints when I wake up in the morning which is not completely unusual for me as I have arthritis but it’s a lot worse since the op. Seeing my GP on Monday, hope I can share some answers 🤞🏻
I have recently had my second shot of Prostap for endo I’ve now got kidney pain on the right side too! I know this post is old but did the pain subside or did you find out if the Prostap was causing it? I’ve had shocking headaches with it but apart from that no other symptoms but I’m still bleeding & spotting in between I also have the mirena too going back to gyno in feb to see how I’ve got on with Prostap & book in for op, I haven’t had much weight gain yet but I can see it coming as I’m waking up at 4am every night craving chocolate & can’t sleep until I’ve had some it’s becoming a problem I’m bridesmaid in march haha I’ve never been a chocolate person either
Yes pain went away and weight gain went too. Had to work at it but I’ve lost nearly 4 st in 2 years. Had headaches and bled for 7 months constantly. Had hysterectomy in October that became medical emergency as bowel was stuck to my womb 50/50 that I’d pull through. Had colostomy bag fitted till next year. 9hrs in theatre/recovery and 11 days in hospital. Steady recovery 1st hospital check up today and nurse said I’m doing well. Hope your appointment goes well. Try freezing chocolate buttons and just having a few, tricks brain into thinking you’ve had more, caramel buttons are yummy and frozen buttons are the best! Good luck.
