GnHR injections

hi, had my first injection yesterday (I have grade 4 endo) and woke up today with a vile headache and pain in my lower back/hips. Has anyone else had the injections and had similar pain the next day? Potentially not connected and a stress/tension headache but the lower back pain is unusual x

hi KTe23, sorry for the pain you’re in! I had the injections too, Prostap, I have only just this week stopped by choice after 6 months. But the first month was rough, I’m sorry I wish I could be more positive. I had headaches, dizziness, nausea, heart palpitations especially in the first couple of weeks, I didn’t drive during this period because it was all totally random when they would strike! They did subside though. Longer term side effects developed later at the 3 month stage and I found them harder to live with, severe joint and muscle pain, it was like I had rheumatoid arthritis (which I don’t have normally). That’s not to say you will develop the same symptoms, but just for awareness it’s good to know what others have experienced. Also I advise reading about side effects in the patient information sheet (package insert that the medication comes with or find it online). Hope you feel better soon ❤️
