Swelling on feets

Had my scanning done two weeks ago,I don't know what to do now,do they send my report to GP or they will call me from hospital,I don't know what to do, please help me as i don't know if I have to struggle at home as my feets swelling with lot of pain especially at night, morning if I do something I get very tired so I have to be in bed again.pls if any doctor here pls atleast give me some medicine to forget the things in my body giving so much continuous pain as I can't even sit down,I mean how can one be always on bed gaining weight, swelling and pain and waiting for more disease to get, thyroid, weight gain,legs pain,feets pain with swollen body I think I am inviting more diseases in my body as already suffering from thyroid,pls help me as I am wondering if I complaint about swelling and pain in feets everyone will say that all related to weight gain but nobody knows the main cause behind my disease

sorry to hear you are feeling so awful! Did your GP request the scan or was it a consultant? You should be able to phone whoever requested and ask either for your results or to be given an idea of how long it will be until the results are available. You can also update with any new symptoms or ask for another appointment for more support while you wait for those results if you are struggling.
