Does anyone has healed endometriosis with a holistic approach?

Hi beautiful souls! I got a diagnosis of endometriosis and a 5cm cyst in one of the ovaries. I started having unusually painful periods but they were not in every period, I did two scans and everything was normal until the 3rd scan show the endo and cyst. I was surprised about it cuz I don't have a family history of this condition and I couldn't understand how they were not able to see it before. And it made me think that if it built up in a matter of months I could also make it go away in a matter of months with and holistic approach. Has anyone done it? Or is doing it?

I'm on a waiting list for surgery but I have decided that I'm not gonna do it and I would like to try the natural way and make my body heal itself. The doctor gave me the option of monitoring or having the surgery, at that moment I said surgery right away but I'm reading about how awful it can be and how it can come back so I thought wait a minute I can find the root and see why my body creates this condition and heal it so I'm starting to do research and looking forward to healing. Thank God I only had some bad period pain but it's not all the time and I can say that I'm very lucky cuz I know it can be really bad. My period stopped coming for like 3 months recently but I did a 74 hours fast and then I started ovulating and having my period again!! I'm so happy about it cuz I never had amenorrhea before other than that I don't have any other symptoms.

I read about women healing endometriosis through fasting, a healthy diet off course, I stop alcohol and I'm excited for this journey.

Is anyone trying the natural way? And would like to join me?

I know that we are capable of making us sick but we also are capable of curing ourselves 💪🏻✨

Today I'm starting with my first book Truth Heals by Debora King and I'm entering ovulation so I can not fast but I soon as I can I'm gonna do a long fast to reset my body. Since I heard about autophagy I'm like 🤯🤯

I'm looking forward to hear from your experience!

Sending you all loads of love and healing✨

You've written an interesting post and have drawn conclusions from listening to others experiences and at the end of the day no doctor can force surgery or make you follow a certain treatment plan. My personal journey was one where surgery didn't get my out of pain, so I went down the anti inflammatory diet route. I saw a specialist dietician who journeyed me through. This got me off tramadol and out of pain in 6 months.

However I had a merina coil fitted to stop my periods and prevent the existing adenomyosis and endometriosis from worsening. It is a progressive disease and diet alone won't stop your periods and disease progression.

You could have it monitored and try managing the pain through diet (I know nothing about fasting as it wasn't suggested to me by my dietician) but I would consider how you would feel if it spread and harmed your organs? Or if you later found out it made you infertile? All of these are questions only you can answer but it's important you make a decision based on facts as well as others experiences.

Try this really well researched book and feed by Katie Edmonds “ Heal Endo “ her feed is @heal.endo . Also look to Leah Brueg for general period/menstrual healing ( podcast 52 is a must ) and finally Dr Angie Muller’s insta feed @corerecoverypt . All have fanastic experience and knowledge base. Why invent the wheel twice ? Recent research on Immune Systems and Endo by Stephen Palmer at Baylor College in US will also be a great steer for development of your healing programme as it underwrites Katie Edmonds take and the necessity for the management of the inflammatory pathways ( ie Janus Kinase pathways and those governing depression, autoimmune and IBS ) I use and find the most progress with Omega 3 ( fish based version not the vegan as it’s not got the same necessary fatty acids ) Reservatoral and Quercitin ( both effect the Janus Kinase pathways in double blind studies ). Add in daily walking and the specialist physio and it’s way way the best way forward. This is in addition to surgery when it was appropriate ( didn’t remove all the pain and problems folks !) and using my GP’s recommended low dose Nortriptyline coupled with Curable app . Knowing there are management strategies and options to mix it up is key .

@Endonutrition on Instagram May give some good advice on holistic help. I’ve tried countless complimentary therapies and I’d say they’ve all helped at certain points you just need to see what works for you. The hands on healing - energy therapy- reiki (all the same!) helped loads with stress and acupuncture too I’m sure it helped with fertility and Tai chi. I too am a bit believer in your body being able to heal itself, though for whatever reason mine hasn’t managed it in the last 28 years though I’ve had points when it’s been a lot better (&10 operations!) I would definitely say that endo and adenomyosis ongoing pain affects you mentally and this definitely contributes to stress and inflammation, so the more you can do to alleviate that then the better you will be. Trust your instincts for whatever feels right for your body wether that be holistic or surgery or both. Wish you well 🫶🏻

Sadly there is no cure for endo, but you can definitely manage and reduce your symptoms with natural approaches. I found an anti-inflammatory diet made a big difference to my symptoms. We all respond differently, but taking out gluten and sugar really helped me along with adding in more anti-inflammatory foods. Working on managing stress levels is really important too and if I get stressed for too long I notice symptoms coming back. Some people find things like acupuncture or homeopathy helps too, It really is a case of trying some things and seeing what works for you. Good luck.

Hi Clarii

It has been a while since your post. How are you doing? Did fasting work for you? I am trying a holistic approach myself as well, but haven't tried fasting yet. I would love to hear about your experience.
