After effects from scan and exam

Pug_mum_with_endo profile image

Panicking a bit - I had an internal ultrasound (much poking with the wand which was painful) followed by an examination including a speculum. This happened on Friday last week. Since then I'm seeing black tissues and fibres coming out, and I'm still getting cramps. Has anyone else experienced this?

I would call the GP asap and explain. I’ve had brown blood which is old blood but nothing like you describe.

Thanks Jules. No sign of infection and a range of tests came back negative. GP suspects the exam disturbed tissue but I can't wait to get the whole thing removed next month.
