I’m in need of some help and this is the only place I could think of
I was diagnosed with Endometriosis a few years ago - after about 20 years of trying to get a doctor to listen to me. I was only listened to as I was getting pretty bad cramps in my bottom- I have a underlying condition where I’m on blood thinners for life so I can’t take the pill , tranexamic acid or anti inflammatory medication - the past 9 months I’ve been getting peri menopausal symptoms- meaning I’m on my period pretty much on my period constantly- but the cramps are getting so serve in my bottom it’s affecting my everyday life and the GP’s don’t really want to listen- has anyone got any tips on pain management.
Many thanks

I can't tolerate anti inflammatory medications. They really do a number on my stomach. Have you been referred to pain management? If not I would get referred. I did wait 8 months to be seen. I use heat pads, hot water bottles, and a tens machine. I also take nefompam and paracetamol on tandem. I have just been prescribed noritriptaline but that hasn't had an affect yet.
The other thing is for your bowel that helped me with those shooting pains was Buscopan. I found they were not as intense.
Hi there! I'm sorry you're having to navigate this condition without NSAIDs.
The Ovira TENS machine has helped me. So have epsom salt baths and heating pads. I'm experimenting with an Infrared Light wrap daily, for 30mins, which is supposed to help with inflammation and pain.
This women's health expert recommends 500mg of powdered ginger, 2-4x per day (worth a shot), and also recommends dosing CBD daily. She has some other great recommendations of anti-inflammatory supplements: avivaromm.com/endometriosis...
