I have has suspected Endo since I was 12 when I was getting extremely bad pains during my period. It would tent to come on a couple of days before I would bleed. I finally managed it with the Depo injection a year ago. In November I ended up struggling massively with pain. I ended up in and out of hospital at least once a week not being able to manage. I then got blood in my stools which has went on constantly since January. All my doctors are saying is they don’t know what’s going on. They don’t think it’s endometriosis 1- because I’m too young to have it on my bowels and 2- because I’m bleeding 24/7 and not just when I get my periods. I am bowel incontinence ( not all the time). I keep fainting. Being sick after everything I eat unless I take antisickness medication.
My question is has anyone had these issues?
I’m having a diagnostic laparoscopy in June. But I want to know if it’s definitely going to be endometriosis before I get it done as I’m going to be missing important exams. I have already missed a lot of assignments as I haven’t been able to get in. so these exams are the only way for me to pass my course.

Hi there, I'm so sorry you're going through all of this I know how difficult it is to balance school and your health as I'm the same age as you taking my A-levels this summer. I was diagnosed with endo via laparoscopy in december 2022 (privately), and it was around my bowel and bladder. I thought it might be useful to share some of my symptoms? I've had awful periods since I was 11 also but thought it was normal, until it got progressively worse in the past 2 years. My periods lasted for 10 days and had cramps up to 1-2 weeks before it, with very heavy bleeding, throwing up, fainting and very painful cramps and lower back pain, and for 4 days every month I could barely get out of bed. Whenever I went to the toilet as well for a bowel movement I would get stabbing pains. I'm currently on the dienogest pill which has stopped my periods and also prevents the re-growth of endo.
The bleeding 24/7 sounds really draining - are you on the pill or anything? I know when I took a mini pill at first I bled all the time and then it took a break from it and it stopped.
Wishing you all the best for your op in june and let me know if u need anything at all I'm happy to help however I can 💕
I’m on the Depo injection. I’m not on my period haven’t been for nearly a year but I’m getting blood in my 💩. Which I thought could be bowel Endo but with it not just being while im on my period I don’t know if it is or not.
