Talking to employer about conditions

Hi everyone! This is my first post, I joined tonight. I have PCOS and endo. My symptoms often prevent me from going about my activities as normal (despite being on the mini pill, I have random on/off periods and pain that doesn't even correlate with the periods) meaning I often miss uni, and caused problems at my old job by missing shifts. I'm starting a new part-time job at a supermarket next week - how do I go about informing them about my conditions and the problems they may cause? I don't want to seem like a bad employee etc/causing problems on my first day etc. Thanks :)

I would advise to join a Trade Union and talk about your conditions with your Rep. Endo is hidden disability.

You can ask your employer to make reasonable adjustments at work place .For example :flexible shifts and increased sick absence rate.
