Does anyone else suffer with chest pain linked to their endometriosis? I have suffered with random chest pain for years now (I am 20) and this has been happening for over 3 years. My endometriosis is only suspected to be in my pelvic area, but the MRI also checked for any signs of thoracic endo due to chest pain and none was to be seen. Can chest pain be a symptom of endometriosis only in the pelvic area?
I have had a chest x-ray which came back clear, multiple ECG’s which are fine and heart rate, blood pressure always fine! I also suffer with shoulder and neck pain. I didn’t know if this was common and I should just link it with endo or to try and push for further answers. I was prescribed omeprazole for a while and this made no difference. The pain also does not come on before/ after eating so I know it is not linked to digestion or anything!
Thank you! Xxx

I have chest pain too which seems to correlate with my cycle but I do have high blood pressure. I don’t think I’ve always had high blood pressure though so I don’t think it can be the sole cause. The chest pain would vary between a general tightness to obvious palpitations approaching my period.
I think POTs is common with endo patients but if all your tests are normal related to your heart then I’m guessing you can rule that one out.
Shoulder pain is a symptom of diaphragm endometriosis I believe. However, I think it can also indicate gallbladder issues which are, again, commonly linked to endometriosis.
I’m going off my memory so I hope what I have said above is correct and hope you find out the cause. I have no doubt your experience is real and there is a legitimate cause which might not be uncovered or may just be dismissed. 😕 Good luck. xx
