Been taking oestrogel and ugesteran since September 2022 Hrt tablet to protect my womb because of endometriosis. I am in the menopause aged 50
Had issues with the ugesteran stopped it my GP said that she would not give me the oestrogel unless I took the ugesteran so tried it again
Experiencing the following
Tiredness, drained, no energy, spotting, urinating loads and water infections, nausea, dizzy, sleep problems, eyes feel swollen in a morning, tummy cramps, feel inflamed in my tummy, feel like been stung by millions of wasps inside my tummy, pain across shoulder blades and in my back, no appetite
Anyone else had any problems please
Thank you so much for your help greatly appreciated

Hi Janet, did you mean Utrogestan? I'm 49 and was taking Utrogestan only for 4 months and it completely stopped my endo pain and my endometrioma shrunk! As soon as I added Oestrogel the pain has flared up, I am so bloated all the time, lots of gas which really gets me down, and dizziness. I have tried stopping Oestrogel again and when I do, pain settles but other menopause symptoms get worse such as tiredness and fatigue, low mood, brain fog, stiffness and joint pain, dry eyes. So I don't know what to do. Perhaps I need to increase Utrogestan or perhaps I should quit HRT altogether. I cannot live with the bloatedness and the flatulance and the endo pain and discomfort. It feels like Oestrogel causes inflammation in my bowel...
Good morning CofG hope you are well. Thank you so much for your reply. Only just seen it at the bottom of my messages. My gynaecologist has taken me off all HRT now as it was making me worse rather than better. I have bad joint pain, fatigue, hot sweats, low mood, insomnia but trying to cope with nothing. I had a transvaginal scan yesterday and she said there was a thickening in my cervix which looked like blood. I said is is endometriosis and she said she couldn't tell. Sending a report to my gynaecologist to see what she thinks. How are you doing. I am going to look at natural medicine to help my menopause symptoms. Take care your help is greatly appreciated. Have a lovely day x
