Yes. The first diagnostic method is now by scans and only by a lap if scans are clear. This post might be useful

Yes definitely as long as it is an internal ultrasound done by a knowledgeable sonographer.

Yes you can, but quite often they say that Endo might not show up on the scans. The scans rule out other conditions too, like polysystic ovaries. I have recently had a Laparoscopy which showed Endo and luckily was able to be removed, but my ultrasound prior to that was clear

Hey Alexgrace, I think there’s about a 50% chance that it shows on ultrasound. I have severe endo and it didn’t show up on ultrasound, I only got diagnosed via lap.
