Diagnosis of stage IV - help needed

HelloHappy New Year!

I've heard there are rules around how and what a gynaecologist must do in the UK for a stage IV endo diagnosis. Rules about Multi Disciplinary Teams involvement for example. Does anyone know where this is detailed in the guidelines please?

This is a UK only question!

Cheers

Hi TennisAM

Happy New Year to you too. 🥳

The Nice Guidelines can be referred to.

cks.nice.org.uk/topics/endo...

To find the MDT teams you can search on Google 'BSGE endometriosis centre register'

Request GP referral.

All the best. X 💜
