Hi all, I had surgery 4 years ago due to pain and fertility. In 2021 I did my first IVF cycle which ended with a miscarriage and then my second round went full term but sadly our daughter passed away in February. We have since done two more IVF cycles which neither have worked. In the last two months my pain has been increasing again but it’s no where near back bad as when I had my surgery. My concern is if my endo has grown and is causing us not to get pregnant. I’m due to do another round next month but with only 2 rounds funded left, I’m wondering if it will be a wasted cycle and I should try to have surgery first? Any advice would be really appreciated!

Sorry about the loss of your daughter, you’ve been through so much.

Have you spoken to Gynae about op, seems a logical step to consider removing the Endo. An expert fertility/Endo consultant would have a good idea of the potential outcome. If your current one doesn’t know enough, can they refer you to someone who does?

could you not request a 3 month prostap injection prior to starting ivf. It will shrink any growth drown. That’s what I did prior to both my ivf pregnancies.
