Jaw and mandible pain on birth control

Hello there!

I’ve been on the Cerazette pill since March and lately I’ve been experincing stabbing pain in my jaw, mandible, jaw corner, around some bottom teeth on that side and sometimes near the ear area. Sometimes it’s really bad and sometimes i can manage it without painkiilers. My teerh scan is clean, i don’t have anything swollen, red or anything else but pain. This pain comes and goes, there can be moths or weeks between episodes. I’m starting to believe the pill may be the culprit for this. Has anyone experienced something similar?

there is an association between progesterone levels and TMJ pain apparently. Worth looking into.

I would get TMJ pain / poor hearing that appeared cyclically with periods as I ventured through the peri-menopause and frequent use of antibiotics for UTI’s. Later it came with neck rashes then permanent swollen glands in neck and sublingually. This went when I dealt with lactase intolerance and gut functioning with Omega 3 and then probiotics.
