Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well 😊
I am sure I have endo on my tailbone or bowel.
GP referred me to a physio who identified neuro symptoms of a non mechanical lower back issue.
General bowel issues and struggling more now with walking/movement, lack of sensation, weakness, numbness and pain which is rapidly worsening where my legs give way so getting concerned.
It feels like knives stabbing in my back constantly but really bad at ovulation and period where it can make me sick.
Going for an MRI but have heard this can’t see endo?
(Had two laps before)
Can I get treatment through gyne for this or should I contact gastro?
What is the process to getting treatment/diagnosis of endo in these areas?
Can the tailbone and bowel areas be seen on normal lap? (I have one scheduled for next year)
Or do I need a different treatment/diagnosis method?
Could this cause lasting damage?
Has anyone had neuro non mechanical back pain - how did it relate to endo?
Also how can you check your surgeon is skilled in endo and will be able to remove all of it?
(says it’s a interest but not a specialist)
If anyone has any experience info on the above if would be much appreciated. Thanks xx
