nausea and endometriosis?

I had a laparoscopy a few years ago and my surgeon said my endo (which was fusing my womb and rectum together) would return if I didn’t get the coil or get pregnant. After two years of trying for a baby we had our daughter - but a few months after giving birth I started getting severe pelvic pain - not just on my period (which are very irregular) but most of the month. In the last month I’ve developed pain in other areas (lower back after a poo, upper abdomen) and have had constant nausea. I can manage the pain as I’m kind of used to it - but the nausea is awful. I struggle to eat and have lost a lot of weight. Has anyone else struggled with nausea with endometriosis? I’m being investigated for other things but wondering whether it’s a symptom others have experienced.

Hi,

I have endo on my bowel and there is scarring on my rectum. Awaiting a lap. There is a possibility my bowel and uterus are stuck together. Waiting list is ridiculous though. 9 months so far and no update. I get nausea. Mainly in a morning like morning sickness. It was worse when I had a large cyst but still go through stages. My endo causes constipation so when that’s bad my nausea is bad aswell. I’ve been prescribed anti sickness

It’s not unusual to get nausea with endo when it’s on or near your bowel and that type of endo needs treating at a specialist bsge centre so do make sure you are with one and if not ask for referral to one to get your options.
