Despite having Zoladex so far for three months I am still having a heavy period and horrible pelvic, back and legs pain. It is worst during my period.
I was told that my period should switch off because of Zoladex but it has not been the case. I will have three more injections. Did you have a similar experience?
Thanks in advance.

Hi, do you take HRT with it? I found this when I started having zoladex injections and was told to reduce the Estrogen part of the HRT, which worked much better for me .
Hi Drivinganywhere . Thanks for your reply. I am afraid this is not the case.
Before Zoladex I was on Norethisterone and Tranexamic Acid, but the gynaecologist asked me to stop them as I was not going to have my period. Unfortunately, I still have my period and all its symptoms. Besides, there are manufacturing issues with Norethisterone and it is impossible to find it anymore.
I requested a replacement via the secretary who assured me my email was sent to one of the consultants but again it was refused because according to them I should not have my period and I am receiving enough estrogen through Zoladex. They did not read my email even though I wrote in bold that I still have my period.
My next appointment with the gynaecologist is in November and everything is via the secretary. It is so frustrating.
