I’ve had 3 laps and laser on the endo, although last consultant said he didn’t find any ( he also made a comment about my weight, 11 stone 5ft5, infront of the full ward!! That was 6 years ago. Since then I’ve still got the mirena but every month in severe pain with minimal bleeding. Scared I could be mistaking endo pain with bowel pain( bowel cancer in family) during this pain my stools are really dark or grey and have on/off loose stools. This only lasts when I get the lower stomach pain the rest of the time it’s all normal.
Has anyone else had the same

If the bowel problems are happening with your periods, it seems likely that it is endo related. Even without endo on the bowel, hormone changes during your cycle can cause constipation/ diarrhoea. I have endo on my bowel and have pain particularly when constipated.
On the other hand It might be worth discussing this with your GP re your fears of bowel cancer. They can discuss more fully what might cause your symptoms, bowel cancer being pretty unlikely though.
You could also discuss the fact that the coil , while it seems to be reducing bleeding is not helping with pain. It might be that it’s time to try something else, or to add in better pain relief.
