Id also check out Nancy's Nook on FB, there is a list of highly rated consultants on there. Mainly US but the UK list is growing.

The list on Nancy's nook is actually pretty controversial. There is one uK doctor on there who has a facebook group with over 60 members who have had terrible surgery with him.Nancy recommends for example David Redwine in the US who was actually had his licence suspended for sleeping with his patients. Negative feedback from any of her recommended doctors is not allowed on the site. I would try the facebook group for endometriosis patients are allowed to give completely honest feedback on there and you will see two or three doctors come up again and again as great and some come up as very poor. There is a lady on here called Lindle who can connect you with the facebook group.

Have you seen endo specialists or was it more general gynaecologists? Did they put you on hormonal treatment? My personal story is that I discovered about my endo for the first time few months ago because of a huge cyst. I did a lot of research and saw privately doctors in London at Lister, Harley street and one who is based out of Cambridge … i didn’t go with any of them and went in a specialist center in France in bordeaux because they practice ethanol scleratherapy for the cysts which decreases less the the ovarian reserve than the classical excision… preserving my fertility was my number one concern as i am planning to freeze my eggs this year. If you are in a situation where you need to remove a large cyst, ask about this method, it’s practiced in France, Italy, Japan and in the UK my understanding only one doctor at Lister does it. Good luck !

And by the way, my surgeon put me on dienogest for basically for ever (except time i want to have kids) saying it will be efficient in preventing a return of the cysts
