Cycle after laparoscopy

Hi, I just wondered how long it takes for your monthly cycle to go back to normal after a laparoscopy for endometriosis .

After surgery my first period was 44 days and my 3 periods since have been either 18 or 19 days, instead of my usual 26 days. Has anyone had their cycle go out of sync? If so, how long did it take to go back to normal.
