I am desperate for help

Desperate for help. I have a long story and history but I’m being palmed off and being told it’s just “ chronic Pelvic pain through unknown cause” I have every symptom of Endo, I last had any explorative surgery in 2017. The gynaecologist I spoke to in August 2021 ( a man ) was not helpful in the slightest

Hi,

Sorry to hear that but your not alone. I had results of my scans back and was told my chronic pain pelvic pain, Irregular/painful periods, bloating and lumps are nothing to worry about. The doctor said he couldn't see anything wrong with me. Left the appointment feeling really let down. I like you have every symptoms of Endo but can't seem to find anyone to take my concerns seriously. But still won't take no for an answer we just have to try and push to see different people and get multiple opinions.

❤️x

Thank you, yeah it’s been really really tough, I feel like no one is listening to me at all. It’s nice to know I’m not alone and there are other women out here shouting with me x

It is tough, hopefully you can find someone who will take your concerns seriously and really look into the issues your having.

I’m sorry you are going through this. My 20 year old daughter has been going through the same thing for years. We are now waiting to see an endometriosis specialist after her lap didn’t show anything. Apparently if you don’t know what your looking for endometriosis can be missed. Keep pushing to get answers you know your body and if you are in pain push to see a specialist. I wish you luck

I was told it was just mittel scmirtz (mid cycle pain) by one old chap who was a gynae. He hadn't done any scans or anything and was completely dismissive. Look up and endo specialist in your area book a private appt and get referrd for an MRI or TV ultrasound. When they did look i had stage four endo and my ovaries etc were stuck to the womb, womb stuck to bowel etc.

You must keep pushing sees someone who knows what they are doing and who cares about their pateints do not give up. You know your own body better than anyone else.I'm so sorry you have been treated like this it happend over and over again and frankly it's a disgrace that so many women are not listened to.
