Focal adenomyosis fertility

Does anyone know about focal adenomyosis? I've got my MRI results and that's one of the things it mentions. I havent got an appointment with my consultant until the end of March to go through the results. Trying to get pregnant at the moment so I'm wondering what it means for my fertility, from googling it doesn't seem like good news... Has anyone else had this? TIA

Thanks for your message. Sorry to hear that focal adenomyosis was possibly found in your MRI. I also have adenomyosis, and found out about it in a letter from my consultant with very little explanation. Waiting until the end of March to find out more seems like a really long time and that can be frustrating. In my personal opinion, you would be best to wait for the appointment to hear directly from your consultant about what this means for you and what treatments are available. If you feel you want answers sooner, it could be worth calling the hospital and asking if a couple of questions could be answered via email?
