Ongoing cramping after a laparoscopy?

Hi I was diagnosed with Endo beginning of last year and had surgery to remove it as I was experiencing debilitating cramping most days for a few years before hand. Even though the surgeon said it was a success I still (less frequently) get really debilitating stomach cramps which I take naproxen for - I was just wondering if you can still have flare ups or Endo even after having a procedure to fix it ? I really struggle with my mental health as I am in constant fear of being in excruciating pain. I have a coil fitted so I am unsure if the pain is directly related to my period or just sporadic. I’d be really grateful for any responses.

Hi, I’m sorry I don’t have much advice but I definitely understand your pain. I had surgery 6 months ago and have still been having prolonged bleeding, excruciating pain and pains in my legs. I just keep going back to my G.P and have now asked to be referred back to a specialist to find out what’s going.

Be your own advocate, if you feel like something isn’t right, keep going back to your G.P. You can ask to be referred to a specialist. I hope this helps x
