So I got a bit desperate with pain last night and called an ambulance. I was at my office desk and had severe stabbing pains on my left side and was sent home. I spent the rest of the day vomiting for pain before giving up about 3am.
They (paramedic)gave me one gas and air which mostley did nothing. I double dropped some codeine before I left for the hospital. I sat in the bay on my own before the doctor saw me at 8am and by that time the codeine had kicked in and I was pain free and sent home without any scans and just told I need to go back to my gp.
Since then I have had about 6/7 flare ups with the same stabbing sensation much more intense than my usual endo pains the flare ups seem to last about 15 minutes each before dying down. Codeine is the only thing that seems to help.
I now have an appointment with the gynae specialist next week but I'm so exhausted now and frustrated no one seems to know what's going on. I feel something is not right.
I really don't want any more surgery ( I had laproscopy ablation 2 years ago)especially if the disease will just grow back again 😢
Thank you for reading I'm not expecting any medical explanations, obviously I need to wait for the consultant. I just needed to vent for a bit. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks x

Hi I feel for you! They won't scan you in A and E anyway. They can only give pain meds. Write out questions for your specialist. Take a pain diary etc. If they ultrasound scan you in might not show up. I paid for a mri and nothing much showed up! Then had a laproscophy and the consultant found 3 different issues.
So just prepare what you want to say. Try and explain that you are desperate. Explain about a and e. But don't hold back in the consultation. Good luck!
