Dating with endometriosis

Hey I’m new here! Has anyone experienced bad dating experiences and not understanding partners with endometriosis? I recently have been through this and wondering if anyone else has as it’s not a topic often spoken about! x

Hi Freya 👋 I'm in a similar predicament to you. I'm just chatting to a few guys before deciding whether or not to meet them.

One guy seems lovely and have been msg'ing nearly every day.

I'm really cautious about bringing it up yet it's such a big part of my life, I can't not! I was explaining that I hadn't been to the gym as I'd had surgery. He asked me only yesterday, what that surgery was. I've still not got round to fessing up! I mean it's a gynea issue and at this early stage, it's kinda embarrassing!

HiI'm trying to meet someone at the moment and also wondering how to handle this. I've seen a guy a couple of times and he seems really nice, but I've mentioned not feeling well a couple of times and now I wonder if he's wondering what's going on. On the one hand, it seems early to tell someone medical information about myself (I've only met him twice). On the other, I don't want him to think I'm really secretive and not sharing info with him (obviously I would once I know him a little better). Argh...
