MorningWhether it was pain or Zoladex the pain consultant suggested Amitriptyline, it’s used for nerve pain and helps with sleep. It doesn’t work all the time though and was awake at around 4:30 this morning 🤦♀️
I don’t have coffee apart from first thing. Maybe chamomile tea in the evening. Valerian and passiflora are other night time herbs. Given there is some hormonal attachment to Endo, did they give you HRT?
I hope the rest of the day goes better for you, it’s exhausting though
Hey Yeah I'm on tiblone. And I'm the same as you, one coffee in the morning and only herbal tea the rest of the day. Try and some exercise each day as I was told that would help. Tried meditating, reading no phone etc etc.
You’ve tried pretty much most things. Can you con anyone into giving you a foot massage? Particularly big toe, pad just under and around ankle, gently, not rough at least, main hormone points in reflexology. Has to be a hormone trigger somewhere, too precise.
I have been ok with pain the past two days. I find if I get a good walk in, it eases it so much. But can only do this when not at work as only a walk seems to help. It's so much to handle sometimes isn't it, pain, insomnia trying to eat properly, not do this or that. It's like managing a project or something!
Hi. I'm struggling with insomnia just the same as you, its horrible. My skin is terrible, my blood pressure seems to be all over the place and the headaches and migraines are daily. Normally my blood pressure is ok and I have to be very careful with migraines as I suffer from Hemiplegic migraines so I thinking if zoladex is worth it.
I’m on Decapeptyl injection rather than Zoladex with no HRT/add back but I’ve found taking a 80mg magnesium supplement before bed helps me sleep through. If I forget to take it for a couple of nights I’m awake from 2/3am so I definitely think it’s the magnesium which is helping 😊
I do take magnesium, I don't know what the dosage is and I take it in the morning. I'm going to look at the dosage and take in the evening! Thanks so much!! ❤️
i was on decapeptyl for 6 months and the insomnia was ridiculous and i never suffered from it before. the migraines are constant and again something i never had before either. my GP prescribed me melatonin to help me sleep - hope you are ok
