Endo pain is starting to become unbareable falling to the floor in pain at work and not being able to move! hospitals and doctors are not helping as it’s under investigation so they can’t do nothing… anything else I can do or resort too????

Pain killers don’t work

Heat pads have stopped working

Chloe,

Look for a good private gynaecologist in your area who specialises in treating endo. The NHS will take too long. It costs about 200 pounds to see a private specialist. They can help you get treated quickly. Also please plaese write to your MP there are literally hundresd of thousands of women in the UK suffering as you are and we will not get treatment unless we put pressure on the politicians to make endo a priority issue.

The longer you leave it the worse it will get. Please jsut conatct a good private doctor and pay it's the only way to get any treatment.

I've been thinking about this more and more every day. It angers me to read so many women are dismissed due to "being women, with women's problems". I've experienced it myself. Are there petitions going on? I'd like to step up and contribute to this to get a hard push on women's health finally being a priority

Hey Chloe_neal

So sorry you’re having such awful pain.

There are times when nothing seems to calm the pain for me, either.

Apologies if you’re already doing this, but try to contact your GP while waiting/ going through investigations at the hospital.

Maybe you can try something new to help.

Honestly, and I’m not the only one, I would strongly suggest trying cannabis as relief.

If that’s too difficult to get hold of, try a high concentrate CBD oil (10% is all I’ve found). You need to take it so it accumulates it’s effect over time - but is shown to have anti inflammatory properties that can help.

There’s research outside of the UK showing that cannabinoids are effective on endometriosis pain.

Not what you're looking for?
