Just want a bit of advice really or if anyone else has experienced this. I have severe endometriosis with 2 complext endometriomas on my left ovary and one on my right but very small, i also have adenomyosis. I really struggle with my endo pain on a morning and this week I'm struggling to walk every time I put my foot down I get an electric shock pain where my ovary is that shoots down my leg. Has anyone else experienced this? Im so unreliable at work because of it. Iv got a great manager who is so understanding but I can't help feeling guilty and bad for all the time off I have.

Thanks for your message. Sorry to hear about the severe pain you've been experiencing in your ovaries. I can really relate to this as I have also had an endometrioma which produced the same symptoms, and I also couldn't walk on my leg properly. It's so debilitating, isn't it? Know exactly how you feel on the work front too. It's hard not to feel guilty, but remember that endometriosis is a complex, long-term health condition, and your health needs to come first before work.
Endometriosis UK has local support groups run by volunteers all over the country, and these can be a great chance to connect with people near to you who have endo and know exactly what you're going through. If you'd like the extra support from a friendly face, the information is here: endometriosis-uk.org/find-a...
Hope the pain starts to ease for you soon, take care.
Yes, you can get scitic nerve pain like this from endo. Some good surgeons can remove the endo. The world expert on this is Dr Possover in Switzerland have a look at his site it will explain about it.
