Endometriosis and adenomyosis? Pregnancy

Hello, has anyone experienced having both endometriosis and adenomyosis as I just had my surgery recently and was told I have both he cleared the endo but left the adenomyosis which was at the back of my womb as he couldn't take cleared it as he needed to take the womb out to do tat. And I wanted children so was not optional. Has anyone eles have this and dose it effect you getting pregnant?

I have both! Don't know if it affects you getting pregnant as I haven't been trying - but I'm sure someone else will be along with more experience soon xx

Hi, it’s highly suspected I have both. Honestly, I find the idea of adenomyosis more difficult as, like you say, it’s harder to treat and also because there’s so little info out there. (My phone doesn’t even recognise it as a word!) info is scarce, especially regarding fertility. Feels like a footnote to endo to me. Hope you’re doing ok

Hi, adeno in my view is worse than endo as its totally not treatable bu surgery or otherwise unless you have your womb removed or start menopause. I have both. I managed to get pregnant 4 times but miscarry early. Not sure if its due to adeno or just chromosomally abnormal eggs as im quite old now. Try to adjust your diet, reduce inflammation as this is the only thing that will help. Best wishes
