Feel like I'm getting no where!

I had a lapascopy back in December and they confirmed endometriosis, I feel that all my symptoms are now back!, had my appointment with gynaecology and I just feel fobbed off! They are now telling me that I need a bowel scan and to be referred to pain management as they are saying of not coping well. I'm currently on tramadol for the pain. I asked for another surgery as I feel this is what I need and was told no as its not been long enough since my last surgery and that I have to wait. But I'm in chronic pain all the time and feel that I'm going unheard from them.

Anyone else had this issue or and advice on how to deal and cope better with the pain?

Hi Kelsey,

I'm sorry to hear what your going through.

Endometriosis is an awful things, and my god, the pain... its just unbearable...

I'm in the same boat, know what your experiencing, been in pain for 24/7 for 24 days now.

Just waiting as I write, for a transvaginal scan... and I'm really fed up with all the tests and the meds.

I just feel that nobody really understands the pain we are going through...

Hello Really sorry to hear what you are going through aswell

Its such a horrible thing to be going through and no-one really understands unless they have been there and gone through it.

Its like they think I don't know my own body! It's so frustrating and gutting.

The pain killers do nothing and they don't even care.

I'm currently a 3rd year student nurse so I'm aware what is happening.

Hopefully your scan will be soon
