It's been 7 months and no period since laparoscopy?

Hi all, I had a laparoscopy complete with some endometrial ablation and two dosages of an injection (decapeptyl, two dosages, 3 months apart) that i was informed was meant to compliment what i had done and keep the endometrial tissue from regrowing for a while.

Should i be worried? I am not sexually active and have had no partner ever.

It sounds like you got Lupron for induced menopause. I would call and find out the name of the shot, its good to know anyway. It may cause other side effects, relevant specially if you are young (like bone loss). It could also be only progesterone, which has less risks and can stop bleeding..

Yes, belongs to the same group as lupron: temporary stop of sexual hormones production= temporary fake menopause. So it makes sense you don't have a period. Did you stop now? It should come back but when varies per person. It can have many side effects so if you felt other things you might have an explanation if you look into side effects. I would supplement calcium and vit d (helps with calcium absorption).
