Bowel endo new constipation
To clarify the lap was a few years ago n
If you're feeling shaky and weak that might imply low blood pressure, as you're moving blood to your abdominal muscles enough isn't getting to your head.
If you've been constipated for some time you could try the 8 sachets in 6 hours and plenty of fluid.
I've suffered a constant battle with constipation since my lap (and hysterectomy), I get no help or advice from my GP at all. So what is this "OO" you've been talking to?
Have you ever been told about a low fod map diet?I was on it anyway as always got told IBS and it worked fantastic for me until O came off contraception and my periods kicked off again, but now Im getting investigated for endo on bowel and my endo gyne also recommend the low fod map diet xxx
Firstly, I was told I had IBS for years and it wasn't, it was endo, the endo growing around the outside of my bowel was restricting movement, now the scar tissue left by the endo is restricting movement.
The diet you're talking about seems to be about restricting certain types of carbs. I'm on a very low carb diet because candida is fed by carbs and endo and candida often go together so I had huge problems with candida which my GP refused to accept I had to get medication online to treat it but am still restricting my diet to very low carbs. I did a post ages back about endo and candida, you can find it by going to my profile and looking at the past posts.
Thanks, Hae finally been but still feel there is more as feelfull and nauseus. Will try more mobicol.
I tried a low fodmap diet prior to surgery. To be honest I felt much worse on a low fodmap and had a lot of days with vomitting. The dietition felt I may hae inadvertantly been eating something which I was allergic to. However, I think what was happening is it was making me more constipated then my body could cope with with endo and adhesions.
I suppose if this is the first time it's happened after a lap years ago it might not be connected. But if you been generally having pain and other symptoms that perhaps you have just been coping with that have culminated in this then I should get a referral to a tertiary endo centre with a history of previous bowel endo. I don't know whether you were operated on by a specialist team back then but it may be that it was inadequately treated and has grown back. I do think you need an expert scan and if you have the funds it might be worth considering a private one as a referral to a centre is going to take a while. I think you need to check that your bowel isn't being infiltrated. This is a top centre where they specialise in detecting deep endo.
When did you have the surgery? I had the same issue following my surgery when I could not go to the toilet the days afterwards. They gave me a laxative and was told to drink smoothies to keep my sugar levels up because I was also vomiting but definitely ask if it’s safe for you to take anything just in case it’s not x
