Hey all , I haven’t been on here in a while but found this very helpful with going through all my endo stuff , now I’m waiting for my ivf treatment. I’m very nervous and anxious about it I’m only 28 . Can anyone give me any info on what to expect ? I’ve had my first appointment been told to stop smoking and then in 3 months our grant will be sent off , does anyone know how long after that before you start treatment? My doctor said before December but that seems so quick I was under the impression it would be a very long wait . Thankyou ladies !! Sophie x

Are you going private or NHS? I found it took a very long time to get started on the NHS but you can get your funding transferred to a private clinic.

On a positive note I have two beautiful girls and both IVF cycles were successful on our first go with a fresh embryo.

Hi, this is very helpful.never heard that you can transfer the funding. I will ask if they do that in Northern Ireland as well. We are on the waiting list and for the moment I have parked up the ivf process as very stressful. But this is a useful info thank you for sharing.
