idk where to start but just say am in pain like serious pain ive had painful periods for as long as I can remember, painful bladder and bowel movement ,counteless hospital visits but nobody believes me. ill be turning 20 son and have been dealing with this pain since I was 17. I suspect I had endo in the bladder and bowels. I just need help but it feels like a constant battle trying to get someone to believe me.

Oh love im sorry. I too have been struggling since I was a teenager and I'm 30 this year, so I understand the frustration. Are you in a position to pay for a private consultation? I've paid £170 to see an endo specialist after a decade of being ignored and left in pain. I also have bladder and bowel symptoms, but they've never found the cause. If you are able a proper BSGE registered endometriosis specialist is your best bet for getting a diagnosis.

Hi Mina987

I'm sorry that you are experiencing so much pain at the moment. If you are struggling to get a diagnosis you may find some of the information on our website about getting diagnosed helpful. It includes tips about how to approach you GP or a specialist, such as keeping a pain and symptoms diary and writing down in advance some of the answers to questions you may be asked. Having things written down can help you to remember everything and can help you to provide you doctors with as much information as possible. endometriosis-uk.org/gettin...

If it is thought that you have endometriosis affecting your bowels or bladder you may be able to get a referral to an accredited endometriosis centre, you can find a list of these on the BSGE website bsge.org.uk/centre/.

I hope this information helpful

Best wishes
