I know recovery times are different for everyone but when did you start to feel somewhat OK again?
I had my lap on Tuesday. I've been taking cocodamol for the pain, my shoulder pain has been trumping anything but that's settling down and I can really feel my stomach hurting now. I was back at the hospital last night as one of my wounds had pulled open. I just wanted reassurance that it looked OK which they said it did.
They've told me not to do anything at all now. Literally stay in bed and that's it 😬
My appetite is also none existence probably isn't helping.

Aw I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling right now and you ended up in hospital again. I'm glad they think your wound looks ok though!
Recovery time is different for everyone and really depends on what you had done. But in my experience, the first couple of weeks were the hardest and then I started to feel somewhat human again and not like a foggy brained, sore gremlin girl. So hang in there, you're nearly over the worst of it!
Not being able to eat can def make you feel weaker. Have you considered calorie drinks or protein drinks? Another thing you could try is a multivit, just so you get some vitamins in and support your body. Smoothies are also great too, if you can stomach them right now.
I know you said you're over the worst of the shoulder pain now but if you're still experiencing it I highly recommend mint tea. It's great at reliving the shoulder pain, is anti inflammatory and it helps relive nausea.
Most importantly, be kind to yourself. You've been through a lot and you are going through a lot. You're going to be ok again really soon.
I wish you all the luck and I hope things start to feel easier ASAP!! xxx
