Very confused 🤷‍♀️

So not really endo related but I had a liver scan today and after the doctor had finished he said, that my liver was a little fatty and also he noticed something in my liver he was not sure if it was a cyst or something else.

He then said he was not sure if he just wanted to do the scan again or to investigate it to make sure it was a nice tumour!? Like what?! The said for a woman of my age! I’m 30! Is that old?!

I left the room and was like what?!

That’s not how to treat people. Contact Patient Information and Liaison Service and make a complaint. Nobody needs to experience that!!

Sick jokes amongst Drs and Clinicians outside of work is different to weird and unhealthy and inappropriate things said to a Patient.
