Laparoscopic ablation on uterosacral ligaments?

Hi,

Am due to have my second surgery next week to try to remove the endo on my uterosacral ligaments. I have just had another read over my hospital letter and its say laparoscopic 'ablation' of endometriosis - is this method safe to be used on ligaments?

In the past I heard that ablation on any endo isn't the preferred method, and I'm sure my surgeon said it needed to be excised instead. May just be an error, but not sure if this is something I should check up on? Anyone have any knowledge of this?

Seem to have answered my own question after coming across some of the EndoRevisited resources again. Says that endo in this area should never be ablated - will link the PDF here incase anyone else is interested.
