It’s just one day left until the start of Endometriosis Awareness Month! Who's excited and ready to go? This year, your support and voice is more important than ever. Tomorrow we’ll be releasing new statistics that once again highlight the urgent need for change and to #EndoTheStigma for the 1.5million in the UK living with #endometriosis. It is not acceptable that it takes on average 8 years to diagnose, or that people are still told that it’s “just a bad period and to get on with it”. Together we can and will turn this around.
There’s plenty of ways you can get involved. Share your story, talk about endometriosis amongst friends, family and colleagues, attend one of our events, or take on a #1in10 challenge for the 1 in 10 living with endometriosis in the UK. You can sign up any time throughout March - just have a look on our website (endometriosis-uk.org/civicr... and don’t forget to tag us in your challenges so we can share them on our social media pages!
Also, 27th March 2021 is our annual Worldwide EndoMarch. Although we can't march in person this year, a virtual EndoMarch has been arranged. See here for details: facebook.com/events/1909780.... Together we can turn social media yellow!
Please remember, if you find the news triggering throughout Awareness Month, our support services are here for you. There is never any obligation to get involved, and your voice and experience is no less worthy if you decide not to take part this year. For information on our helpline, online forum, and support groups happening during March, visit our website (endometriosis-uk.org/).
