Adenomyosis ,I was diagnosed in August last year I was bleeding through to my clothes every 5 mins, pain was like labour and I had anemia, I was give Decapeptyl every 4 weeks for the last 6 months and on tibalone I've struggled so much with joint pain and since being on tibalone I have had periods every month with cramping, I went for another scan today and was told uterus is back to normal size and everything looks good I had to have this scan at a different hospital and they now taking over my care my worry is will they now just leave me as it all looks fine I want a hysterectomy as I don't want to go backwards and although I know the waiting list is long I know there is hope has anyone else been on these injections and then had scan to be told it all looks fine now 😞

Adenomyosis and Decapeptyl
Hi Charli bear,I am on the same medication for endo and cysts. I’m on a waiting list for Total hysterectomy, to know if it was the right thing my Gynae advised me to take a break to see if this was the right decision. She popped me on the list I had a six week break and was in heaps of pain. I then decided it was the right thing. I have some pain on this medication but no where as near as when I’m on it. Although our diagnosis is different I hope this helps.
Hi thankyou for replying I'm now waiting for a call from my gyne as the injections have worked and I no longer have any pain or bleeding also injections have solved lots of other issues I'm hoping they will let me go onto the list for a hysterectomy as I want my life back I know the symptoms will all return soon I'm dreading it but I feel like I have to fight to get the surgery they keep pushing me to have the marina coil which I don't want hope everything goes well for you and you get your hysterectomy soon .
Thank you. It may be June. I may have just had a small flare up but have had stress recently which may have caused it. I could not have a coil as I had a cooper coil which caused me to be hospitalised and on intravenous antibiotics. It’s all so complex. I hope you get your Gynae to decide it, have you have pain during a break it’s a good decision to have one. It’s on the Nice guidelines and on Endo Uk website.
