I have just turned 30 and up until last month my periods have been the same. Tender breasts week before, painful cramps on the first couple days of period and then not to bad for remaining days maybe sore muscle aches if doing a lot of activity.
Last month however I got a pain/cramp in my lower right abdomen approx a week and a half before my period, it continued until my period began and for the first day or 2 my cramps were really bad seemed worse than usual with pain in right hip and leg. Once the cramps/period went so did the pain in abdomen. Now that same pain has come back approx a week and a half before my next period is due.
Did anyone else experience this and it be endometriosis?
I’m in process of registering with GP where I live now emailed forms etc but they haven’t replied so chasing up to see if been received. Any help in mean time be appreciated.

I do have one sided abdominal pain with endo and often have pain referred to my legs.
If everything is normally ok and you’ve effectively had one or two months of more pain than usual, it would be too early to investigate endometriosis, however. There are a lot of things that could be causing pain. I’m not a doctor but it sounds more likely to be something like a small ovarian cyst, possibly a functional ovarian cyst which is caused by the normal functioning of the menstrual cycle and can cause pain for a month or two but will go away on its own. It would be a good idea to start keeping a symptom diary, of what you’re experiencing and how severe it is, which will potentially help you to get help if the symptoms continue.
Hi yes I’ve experienced this, it’s sucks! I’m sorry you’ve had it too. Mine thankfully doesn’t happen every month now but I’m not sure what really causes it to flare up some months (maybe stress, diet?) I’ve just had my first surgery to remove endo by excision so I’m hoping to see a difference in the next few months (I’ve read that some people don’t see a relief in pain straight away after surgery)
Just thinking it could be ovulation pain or something else or it could be endo. Like someone said it’s hard to know as you’ve only had it the one month. I’d keep a symptom diary and see if there’s a pattern to the pain
