Hello! I would love to hear people’s advise and stories on trying to conceive with endo.

I have been told I have endometriosis, I haven’t had a laparoscopy yet as they are giving me 6 months to conceive naturally. Since coming off my pill I have noticed I have period like pains all month and they are worse when I’m ovulating. My belly is bloated and feels bruised and heavy all the time. It is also painful/bruised feeling when having sex around ovulation. I would just like some advice as I am confused as I don’t know what’s ‘normal’ and what isn’t. Thank you :) xx

Hi hun.Have you ever had any pelvic surgery/infection

Also the pain you describe around ovulation can you describe it a bit more please. My pain around ovulation would get me to a point i couldn't move or stand straight it was like a twisting barb wire then i would be left really sore and tender for days xx

I haven’t had any surgery or infection! What I’m aware of anyway! The pain I get can be sharp, but it’s like a continuous aching and uncomfortable bloat. It’s just really odd feeling. My belly does feel really tender! Very annoying xx

I come off the pill in November 2020, I get period like pains throughout the month but worse at ovulation. And sex is painful during ovulation! I’ve also noticed painful bowel movements at different times of the month. I know ovulation can be painful. I’m just trying to figure out if this is normal for me or if it’s worse because if endo! X

Sounds like its Endo and possibly scarring/adhesions around your tubes. I suffered around ovulation terribly it was my worse time of the month i figured it was due to adhesions after i had a,laparoscopy and hsg.xx

Hello I am going through something similar. I have had a lap in January last year which was great for my pain. But it has come back a year on. I stopped taking the pill 3 weeks ago and since then I have had terrible and painful bloating and period pain daily. Have you found anything to help?

Hey! I’m sorry you have pain! I’ve been using hot water bottles and trying to drink plenty of water. I have also been taking pain relief which has helped. The bloating has gone down for now. I’m hoping this may help you too! I’m thinking about changing up my diet to more fruit and vegetables and maybe gluten free. I’ve been told by sooooo many women that this helps. Have you tried this?
