Northern Ireland Surgery
Hi Everyone, I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and two chocolate cysts. I also have kissing ovaries and they are stuck to my bowel. I have read that there are no specialists in Northern Ireland. Can anyone enlighten me if this has changed and if not the best surgeon to go to in the UK?

Hi, sorry to hear about your diagnosis. There is no bsg centre in Ni but there are a few good docs. Which one you are seeking?
If you don’t mind paying for your surgery and travelling to Dublin Dr. Boos at the Beacon/Hermatige Clinic is amazing. He does surgery every Monday so there’s so excessive waiting list. I couldn’t recommend him more. I’m from the UK & live in Dublin so could have been referred to the NHS but opted to pay for Dr. Boos as he’s such a wonderful consultant and surgeon.
I paid €2600 for my lap and was 100% worth it in regards to level of care. Hope that helps x
