Struggling today

Not after any advice necessarily just a post to say I’m really struggling today, and I know I’m not alone. Had to take 30mg codeine phosphate because the pain in my hips is radiating down my legs and it feels like electric shocks 😩 not even on my period I’m 42 days late (not pregnant) so just feeling sorry for myself! It’s sucks xx

Just to say know how you feel today, it’s horrible and trying to get answers makes it worse.

I had crap call with GP, and pain follow up cancelled today as well.

Hope you feel better soon 🙂

Thank you so much it really does help speaking to others who understand. Oh I’m so sorry that your follow up got cancelled. Why was the phone call rubbish with York GP? I found out today from the BSGE specialist I’m now seeing, about the person who did my first lap last year which was negative. Had previously had appointment with consultant DR.S before my surgery who was horrible and told me I just had IBS but would do the lap to put my mind at rest. On the day DR.M came to see me and told me about the procedure and was the one I saw as I was having anaesthetic, and who signed my op notes so I thought she did op. Turns out DR.S did do my surgery after all, but didn’t bother to see me or write my discharge notes etc. Just think it’s really poor! X

That is very poor, have you asked for hospital notes? Does the specialist think you have it though?Mine have just come through on email, laptop is very slow.

The GP is still trying to put pain down to psychological enhanced effects. 😡 I do know why they do this, but don’t take any notice of what you are telling them. Then you just get frustrated and upset 🤦‍♀️

So the cancelled appointment was the cherry on top 😆🙄

Yeah I got a copy and they are literally minimal 🙄 but lucky the specialist I’m now seeing thinks I have endo so I’m on the road to having another lap done by him eventually. Oh that’s so rubbish I’m sorry to hear that 😞 I hope you get your appointment rescheduled soon x

🤞 covid gets sorted soon and the wait won’t be so long to sort out other conditions and ops. I’m considering whether to see him privately as it would be a follow up price rather than full.
