I've not had a hysterectomy but judging by your post it sounds like pain from everything being removed ligaments and so forth being moved about have you tried any healing methods such as warm compress Or asked to speak to a physiotherapist
Hi, sorry you are having a hard time. I had a hysterectomy (and endometriosis excision) 4 years ago and I had similar issues as you. My infection was a bit more obvious than yours, I got home after surgery and was really unwell, high temperature, extreme pain, started weeing blood. Turns out I had got a hole in my bladder during surgery and urine was leaking into my abdomen.
I had a lots of intravenous antibiotics, scans, another general anesthetic so they could put a camera in me to check what was happening and a catheter for a few months.
The infection took a long while to get over and I ended up with same as you really, aches and pains from my chest down really for months. Everything was hard work, just putting a wash on felt like climbing a mountain.
The worst lasted around 6 months and it was a full year before I felt back to myself.
Good news though, it won't last forever, even after all of that it was the best thing I ever did, changed my life.
Hopefully MRI will give you some answers and maybe as someone else has suggested it could be pain from having everything removed and things moving around. You have been through a massive operation and it does take time to heal.
Hi,I had an hysterectomy age 33,due to heavy bleeding and infections.Had bikini line (as it was called then,I am now 73 ).the operation went well, until 3days later, when I had chronic abdominal pain vomiting +diarrhea ,
I was put into isolation for a week,it appears it was gastric infections, was discharged from hospital ,but suffered many months from the above, before feeling well again.
