I had the same problem on norethisterone and it also lowered my oestrogen levels giving me symptoms mimicking menopause, I’d suggest speaking to your g about other alternatives such as taking the pill back to back? Xx
I’m getting a hormonal coil fitted Wednesday I hope that sorts things. norethisterone hasn’t seemed to work at all. Thank you for your help and advise 😊x
I have been taking this tablet now for 6 months now. I’ve had bleeding on it twice lasting between 4-6 weeks. I’d speak to your GP but if you read the leaflet, it says you can take up to 4-5 tablets a day until bleeding stops for endometriosis then lower the dosage down to 2 tablets a day. That is what I ended up doing and it seemed to settle things after speaking to the gynaecologist. Hope you feel better and get some relief soon.
I haven’t been diagnosed yet but I’m getting a hormonal coil fitted maybe that will fix things? The norethisterone hasn’t really stopped my bleeding. Thank you 😊 xx
