Laparoscopy booked

Hi guys,

Finally got a date for my laparoscopy which is next Wednesday (11th), any recommendations on what to bring/recovery afterwards would be really appreciated! I’ve just turned 21 so super nervous about going it alone!

Hey hun best of luck for your surgery! I've seen a lot of ladies recommending peppermint tea for the gas. Can I ask how long you've been waiting for the surgery please xxx

Best of luck with your Surgery I have had the surgery and my advice is plenty of rest before and after and remeber to look after yourself and bring a book or something to read or watch while in recovery room becase

they are boring as hell

The staff will be very professional, I hadn’t had op until Feb, petrified beforehand, but there was no need.

I’d suggest a few overnight things just in case you’re last on the list and too late to go home. I bought a dress to go home in so I didn’t have anything tight around waist and a small cushion for between body and seatbelt.

Hi! Thank you, yeah it went well thank you and not finding too many other issues than gas! The consultant is going to phone me today as he came right after I woke up and was very woozy!
