I’ve just had a miscarriage. A missed one, which I passed a few days ago. The week before I was in unbelievable pain, nearly vomiting and didn’t connect it to Endo as I was pregnant. A week or so later I was in terrible pain again and by the next day I had passed the baby and placenta. Strangely passing the baby and placenta was almost painless. But then the pain started to increase and change and it is so clear to me now that this is endo pain, it’s in my bowels and makes me feel like I have a UTI but I don’t, if just comes and goes. I feel it in the exact place I feel my endo, in the same way. It’s not like the contractions from last week.
But it’s every day and seems to be increasing not decreasing as expected for miscarriage.
I read on another blog that this is common for endo sufferers, to have increased pain until the bleeding stops. Which could be weeks. Makes sense to me, that whilst my body is telling me to bleed l, that my endo would be getting the same hormonal message and bleeding too.
Does anyone have any more information on this? I can’t find any research on this, no papers - just a few endo sufferers saying this happens. Seems like something that should be easy to research.
Any links or more info appreciated.
