Quick update !! I’ve received my gynae appointment which is 24th of March 2021 this is suppose to be an urgent referral believe it or not . I understand that covid is an issue but I’m really upset how can someone just be told to survive agonising pain on pain killers with no reason as to what it is . For all I know my insides are stuck together . Anyway I have decided to take action in my own hands I’m currently waiting to see a endo specialist privately and in the mean time I’m starting on visanne . I’ve had it shipped from Europe I’m hoping to finally get some relief.

Hey Fooofs91,

I’m in a very similar position to yourself. I was admitted to a surgery ward last month and the surgeons tried their best to get gynaecology to see me but they refused and I was discharged.

I had an appointment for early in October (this was cancelled as my local area is under lockdown restrictions) and I have been calling the hospital weekly since my condition is deteriorating. I’ve also looked at going privately but that option isn’t feasible at the moment.

I haven’t received another appointment but I’m putting on the pressure so I’m seen. Even with the current restrictions, if you’re deteriorating you can call and put on pressure to be seen sooner.

I feel your pain it's like the pain we don't go through isnt bad enough when it's very very life changing! I'm supposed to be having surgery October/Nov rang up today seems as we are in October and had a bad weekend... not even a date set! So diss heartening and annoyed with myself for trusting that this would be true after being let down numerous times before but I'm letting them know how much pain in so hopefully they wont fob me off . Hopefully they will be able to bring your date forward for you x

Absolutely agree with you !!! It’s very unfair and really disheartening. I mean surely understanding that someone is in agonising pain and cannot get out of bed should be enough !! I am putting pressure on them now and I think you should continue !!! You deserve your appointment and you deserve to be seen on time and cared for. Everything is suppose to resume as normal !! XxxxX

Yep its supposed to be must be every other departmentapart from gynaecology! Not falling for that one! Messing with the wrong people 🤣I really hope they bring it forward for you! 🤞 the whole thing needs re evaluating starting with classification of prioritising just because it doesnt kill doesn't mean endo doesn't permanently damage! gp have knocked up my amitriptyline in the meantime and doing the extra scans, physio all the things I've been promised waited for and never received... shocking but I'm grateful they are amazing and will chase aswell as me! Bad that you have to keep on but dont ask dont get 🤣 good luck you will succeed and hopefully this time next year we wont need to rant because life will be good🤣🤣🤣
