Period Pains

Hi guys, I’m due on my period now and out of interest I wanted to know how bad your pains are. I currently feel like I’m in early labour, my entire stomach kills and aches, my below feels so much pressure and my legs are killing. I can’t describe the pain but it gets worse, as soon as I go to the toilet for a no 2 it will get severely painful, I start feeling like I’m having contractions and the only way to relieve it is by standing up and moving and rubbing my stomach. I even have to pep talk my self and breathe in and out fast. It’s like my stomach and below is on fire. I take strong painkillers and nothing touches it. Hot baths make it worse. I sometimes just roll up into the fetal position and hope for the best, other times the pain is too much and I just want to ring an ambulance. The pain is horrendous, it feels like my whole body is in pain and aching, I feel super heavy and warm (sometimes cold). It really is like being in labour but getting no joy at the end, just a serious nap and a bad mood. I can’t describe how bad it is because nobody understands. It’s a constant pain and then every minute or couple of minutes a mass amount of pain. It feels like everything is being ripped out from my below, it can’t be normal because it’s so severe. I’m working today and need to get home because I can’t cope with the pain but my colleagues are off and I’m the only one here so I don’t have a choice. I just want it to all stop but I know it’s only going to get worse.

Oh I’m so sorry I hope you are better now. I feel your pain. That’s exactly what I’ve experienced and feel too. I need hot water bottles all round my body and pain relief and a sleep before I can the feel better. It is the only way that I could describe to people. It’s like going through labour with no baby at the end. Take care
