I got diagnosed with endo in January this year after having a laparoscopy. I was due to go back to the hospital at the end of March but obviously couldn’t due to current situation.
I’m just wondering if anyone could advise me on what types of things are usually discussed at your first review after your diagnosis, e.g. pain relief, medication etc.
I’m wondering if I should get in touch with my GP to see if they can give me some advice.
Thank you in advance ☺️

I had a lap and got diagnosed in February, got a letter through just over a month ago telling me I have a review appointment (via phone) tomorrow.
I wasn’t expecting to hear from them given the circumstances but seems like they’re still doing reviews, deffo worth getting in touch with your GP to make sure yours still goes ahead x
Hi Laura I'm in same situation meant to be back in for 3rd fibroid removed, also been diagnosed with endermitrioses and currently on zoladex injections, these are apparently meant to help with bleeding but I'm due 5th injection and bleeding on and off from the start!!
I was a surprise appendicitis but then actually endometriosis diagnosis back in January!
My follow up was last week, it was rearranged for a telephone consultation. We discussed what they found, whether my GP’s had trialled me on anything since (I.e contraceptive pill etc), my main concerns and I was able to ask many, many questions all of which I’ve had answers too!
We did briefly discuss pain relief but my consultant (thankfully an endometriosis specialist on the charity website) has said to visit it again in 3 months to see if what I’ve been taking makes a difference!
